Goodbye 2021- Hello 2022!
Happy New Year! I hope 2022 finds you and yours healthy and well! It was an interesting year pen wise as well! There were nine total pen shows that ran this past year. We were fortunate enough to attend seven of them (not San Fran, nor Dallas). Attendance was good, considering the pandemic continued all of 2021. Most Pen Pals that came to shows were very enthusiastic, and very happy to see pens up close and personal again! In Fact- Our "Home Show" is only two weeks away (Philly Pen Show- Jan 14-16th)!
As for Federalist Pens- we added several new brands in 2021! We again looked to India for favorite new brands. I have added both Ayush Paper, and Click Pens to the Federalist Family in 2021. Ayush Paper is a family business (run by a Mother/Son Team), that features 100gsm Ink-Friendly paper! This paper has been well reviewed, and received! Click Pens is a very popular, "pocket-friendly" pen company. Their Renaissance Line resembles pens at three times the price! But the biggest pen addition for me was my collaboration with Hinze Pens! Jim Hinze attends most pen shows, and is now one of the top pen makers in our hobby! My exclusive "Stars and Stripes" Fountain Pen features my own Bock Nibs anodized by Hinze, along with matching clip and trim! Choose EF-B Nibs, or Nibs that have been customized by Mark Bacas (Nib Grinder)! Pelikan
New from Pelikan is the long awaited M200 Golden Beryl FP! A Clear Demo Gold trimmed model with gold fleck (Sparkle!) in the body! It comes with a GP Stainless steel nib in sizes EF-B. Pen lists for $240, and I include the pen in a Pelikan Presentation Case (Pelikan Germany sent these pens in a cardboard box to dealers).
